After Spring Festival, the plum trees in Dali gradually entered their full blossom, adorning the natural landscape with vibrant colors. The viewer might witness a variety of distinctive plums on the same tree, as nature had painted a picture of contrast and harmony. The painting depicts red and white plums, which have stood next to a tranquil lake for years, nestled in the scene. The red plums exuded a passionate allure, while the white plums, covered with snow, imparted a sense of purity. These plums served as a reminder of the cyclical nature of the seasons, celebrating the new arrival of spring and the promise of new beginnings.
